BIS hallmarking is done by the Bureau of Indian Standards and certifies the purity of the gold. 916 purity indicates that the gold is 91.6% pure which is 22 karat gold. Hallmarking is done at Government certified testing centres where jewellery is melted down and tested for its purity and a laser engraving is made on the jewellery.

Yes, if your old gold jewellery is BIS 916 Hallmarked, we will take it at the prevalent gold rate. For non-Hallmarked jewellery, its value will be ascertained by our certified appraisers based on the purity and based on your final decision, will be exchanged.
